The Motions of Canoers and Kayakers Exposed with LEDs in Long Exposure Photography

Ontario based photographers Stephen Orlando always searches a way to bring new ideas to the widespread photographic sub-genre of light painting. His incredible photographs capture the hypnotically repetitive motions of kayakers, canoers and swimmers as they paddle through the water, turning their movement into gorgeous woven braids of light.

Orlando’s photographs use programmable strips of LED lights that can blink or swap colors over time, which is how he was able to ensure that every paddle stroke was captured. In an exposure of twenty to thirty 30 seconds, the kayak becomes invisible, but the trail of light left behind as they paddle gets picked up and turned into a stylish lightshow.

The gifted photographer has plenty more long-exposure light paintings of other activities as well. He says I am an avid outdoor fanatic and photographer and I also have an engineering experience. These three things culminated in the production of these photographs and the shape of the light trails turned out to be what I was expectant. You know, i did a great planning for these photographs and I planned out the expected path beforehand. The unanticipated result was how visually attractive they are. The lights trails in these photos were not formed in Photoshop, nor are they composite images. They were made with cautious timing, appropriate lighting and patient friends. I did have to waterproof the lights, particularly for the whitewater kayaking photos. Source: Boredpanda

Street Artist Creates Magnificent 3D Graffiti That Seems To Float In the Air

The Portuguese artist creates marvelous 3D Graffiti which seems are floating in the air. The talented artist which is based in Portugal creates extraordinarily works of street art that’ll fool your eyes into thinking that they are floating 3D sculptures. Odieth mastery of anamorphic art and perspective is truly mind-boggling.

Therefore; we recommend taking a few minutes to look at his art, because that’s what it will take to deconstruct and see through his dazzling illusions. When by incorporating the ground and the ambient lighting of a work into his composition, he makes it seem like his “floating” paintings are casting shadows on the ground or even giving off light. The artist is a true resurgence man, as he used to run a tattoo studio and also sells canvas paintings as well.

He says; I was type of tired of the conventional regular 3D letters so I was always searching for something original,” I got my first leg from one letter coming out of the wall. Since then, I have always been trying to reach a new level if you see the first ones you can see that was something was growing up as the years passed. This is extremely difficult when I decide to left school at the age 15 and never had art lessons.

Because I believe everyone is capable of anything you just really need to what you want to do it.  Sometimes it takes a lot of time to touch a higher level of perfection. However; spray paint to a lot of artists may be a big headache, to know how to get the quality you desire. I strongly recommend to never quitting your dreams if you’re a dreamer. And sometimes, it may take a few years to earn credibility.

Artist Spent 10 Years Carving a Massive Cave Alone With His Dog

For the last 10 years, American artist Ra Paulette has been walking alone into New Mexico’s desert to work, and he spends his precious time carving a sandstone cave that he has found, turning it into a brilliant subterranean space full of light. It is really an amazing that no one but his dog for company, Paulette formed diverse designs and styles for every cavern, giving every one very precise qualities and textures.

The objective of this colossal artwork is to build an environment that would motivate and spiritual renewal and personal wellbeing. It will also serve as a place for artistic events once it’s ended. Moreover every piece of gravel rock is that old and still you can buy rocks at the store. Just like as oil patches of land, and what not. Human beings have taken over and ruined the planet that is millions of millions years old and you’re complaining because a man has an eco-cave? This is really interesting that the cave was not pre-existing, and dug them out by hand. If you dig a hole on the land you own you still own the land and the hole. What an incredible place to go to work and such a fine co-worker to spend the day with you.

The photographs though astonishing looking really don’t do the place justice. They’re truly remarkable, with great light and very cozy, not damp or "cave like". I was working as a builder at the time and it completely blew my mind. I’ve never seen anything like it before or since. One you’ve to see them in person to have faith in it.Source: boredpanda

Artist Creates Steampunk Animals from Old Things

Russian artist Igor Vernity creates steampunk animals from old things, like car parts, watches and electronics. When working with metal, it takes a true master to breathe life into their artwork. He does just that with his gorgeous and stylish articulated steampunk animal sculptures. Their moving parts and obtains attention to detail makes them come alive.

A great work & dedication goes on behind the scenes before his actual effort creates his artwork. Vernity observes his creations’ living counterparts to ensure that he captures their movements’ just right. Then, he assembles them from numerous pieces of scrap metal, old car parts, bike parts, clock movements, tableware, and anything else that fit in his artwork. He says; at heart, I’m artist, and I see the beauty of earth in bright colors, because the combination of good qualities has led to the creation of metal models.

I’m really inspired by the outside world in particular biology and the question of origin of life. I’m also inspired from natural science, and dreams about the future of human civilization. I know, several individuals bring me old items that I can make in my shop, but I also buy a lot of objects at flea markets and collect them in the garages of my brother and friends. All parts are sorted by category. Feel free to dream childishly about unattainable things, because this always pushes people forward.
