A Robot That Turns Any Beach into Sand Drawing

As you know very well, that Disney is famous for animated character on the stage and screen, now they’ve invented a robot which can turns any beach into sand drawings. Well, the latest creation of Disney’s Beachbot which is an autonomous robot that draws pictures on the beach using state of art technology. The adorable bot that looks like a turtle can create sketches and images by dragging seven. The robot is 60 cm in length and 40 cm in width and height.

The Beachbot has a three wheel arrangement with differential drive back wheels and also has a steering wheel in the front. The artist in charge of the robot sets down poles in the sand to tell the robot the space in which it may draw. The robot may either be controlled manually or the artist can send it a file image to replicate. As long as the artist can draw it, BeachBot can draw it too. Moreover the BeachBot is not just a lifeless, mechanical being; it is a friendly looking creature with a soul,' says the robot's official website.

French Photographer Captures Hot Spring and Moment of Icelandic Geysers Bubble

The 30 year old landscape photographer Alban Henderyckx captures beautiful hot springs and moment Icelandic geysers bubble of moodily atmospheric shots of shooting steam and bubbling liquid could have been taken on the moon or some far flung planet, at the very least the set of a sci-fi film. Alban Henderyckx capture the incredible pictures during a trip to Vatnajökull also known as the Vatna Glacier, actually a largest and most voluminous Icelandic glacier, located in the south-east of the island, covering more than eight per cent of the country. This is also famous as and one of the largest in area in Europe.
By wandering someplace in the inland of the Iceland, you’ve to awake almost 24 hours in the surrounded of a thick fog, even driving on the hectic desert trails of Highlands. You know, actually a geyser is a vent in Earth's surface that periodically ejects a column of hot water and steam. However in some geysers have eruptions that blast thousands of gallons of boiling hot water up to a few hundred feet in the air. Therefore; the most renowned geyser is in Yellowstone National Park in the United States often called Old Faithful which erupts every 60 to 90 minutes and blasts hot water up to 200 feet into the air. Alban explaining his work, I instinctively followed the energy of my subconscious to immerse myself more in a world without artifice, nature and the vastness of the landscape.

Ice Volcanoes of the Great Lakes

During the winter months, when the Great Lakes in North America freezes over, an exclusive feature often called “ice volcanoes” starts forming along the edge of the frozen lakes. When the winter ice starts to build along the shores of large lakes, strong winds blowing onshore and wave motion on the waters break up the ice, and they start piling on top of each and building what is recognized as an ice shelf. Moreover amongst the plentiful ice blocks comprising a shelf, numerous develop cracks.

Waves coming into shore from deeper water strike the edge of the ice shelf trigger off them to go under the ice and as the water depth becomes shallow, the potent energy in the wave causes it to rise up, just like a tsunami. Thus when the energetic wave finds a crack on the ice sheet, it reasons the water to sprout making an ice volcano. If the hole is covered with snow, the eruption may spray snow outward alike a volcanic gas cloud. Further a more suitable name for these sprouting water holes would have been ‘blowholes’, but ice volcanoes really grow just like their geological cousins. When the ejected water falls back onto the ice, it rapidly freezes and starts to form an ice cone, this is the process very related to the building of a lava cone surrounding a geologic volcanic vent. Thought the ice cones range in size from 3 feet to more than 30 feet high, and spew a mixture of icy cold water and chunks of ice itself.

Moreover not all ice sheets develop ice volcanoes as to build a good ice volcano cone, this has to required unique set of conditions and the surface air temperature must be some degrees below freezing and lake waves more than a few feet high and breaking onshore, which is perhaps why they’re seen at very few places such as on the shores of Lake Michigan, Lake Erie and Lake Superior.

Tourists Remarkable Snaps Show of Northern Lights in Iceland

Here’s are some tourists incredible photos displaying Northern Lights just like fire in sky, blending orange glow from erupting volcano in Iceland. The Northern lights dancing in the night sky while chasing with the orange glow of an erupting volcano.

They say; the celestial display is well worth it as they’re able to take in the rare double treat. Even in one picture, the glow of Holuhraun Lava field at Jokulsarlon glacial lake at the edge of Iceland’s Vantnajokull National Pakr. We really love them and cannot get more of them, even extremely strong in two times when the sun activity was at peak. They were so bright, so colorful and fast, just out of this world. The real natural phenomena lasted around two hours and colorful display as “unreal”.

This is one of the most attractive and magical places in Iceland when the combined with two of the most captivating natural phenomena it was so unreal and hard to believe. We just felt at one with nature and completely forgot everything else. Every time we see them we were wondering what the people in the old days felt when they didn't know what these lights are.

The beautiful glow from the Holuhraun eruption was located almost 50 miles north of the breath-taking glacial lake, where the green, purple and orange colors reflected off the water's surface. Moreover the Holuhraun eruption started last summer and is the largest to occur in Iceland since the Laki eruption from 1783-1784.

We’re sure most of the time you cannot see the purple color with your naked eye. But when they’re really strong you can see the purple, pink and red colors with your eyes. However when light is too bright to take good pictures because the foreground objects gets too dark depending whether it is full moon or not. Therefore it all depends on the strength of the sun activity.

The Unbelievable Four-Eyed Fish Can See Under Water and Above Surface at a Same Time

Well, you’d be surprise to know, that there’s three recognized species which’ve four eyes. However; a normal human being is well satisfied with two eyes. But sometimes nature is unforeseen to unbelievable things. The unique four eyed fishes are a genus, Anableps, of fishes belongs to the family of “Anablepidae”. They’ve eyes raised above the top of the head and divided in two different parts, so that they can see below and above the water surface at the same time. A. anableps is also recognized for the skill to survive out of water exposed to air, such as during low tide.

Like their relatives, the one-sided livebearers, four-eyed fishes only mate on one side, right-"handed" males with left-"handed" females and vice versa. These fish inhabit freshwater and brackishwater and are only rarely coastal marine. They originate from lowlands in southern Mexico to Honduras and northern South America. There’re presently three recognized species in this genus, which are Anableps anableps (Largescale foureyes), Anableps dowei (Pacific foureyed fish), and Anableps microlepis (Foureyes).

These fishes like to spend most of their time at the surface of the water, and they like to eat mostly terrestrial insects which’re readily available at the surface; though their foods also consist of other foods such as other invertebrates, diatoms, and small fishes. Interestingly these fish will group contrarily depending on the species. A. anableps usually congregates in schools. A. microlepis also is gregarious, but restricts its schools to about a dozen individuals; it is also recorded to be found singly or as couples. These fish have an exclusive anatomy for reproduction. Because four eyed fish have sex organs that’re either turned to the left or to the right side of their body. Hence, a “left” male can only mate with a “right” female and vice versa. They give birth to live young

In the physical characteristics, these species have maximum length of upto 32 cm TL in A. microlepis, making this species the largest in the order Cyprinidontiformes. Although these fish are one-sided livebearers and their reproductive organs are exclusive to its subfamily, and their characteristic is only shared with the related genus Jenynsia. The unique four-eyed fishes only have two eyes each, but the eyes are particularly adapted for their surface-dwelling lifestyle.

The eyes are incredibly well positioned on the top of the head, which can fish make floats at the water surface with only the lower half of each eye underwater. Whereas the two halves are well divided by a band of tissue and the eye has two pupils, linked by part of the iris, and the upper half of the eye is adapted for vision in air, the lower half for vision in water. Hence; the lens of the eye also changes in thickness top to bottom to account for the dissimilarity in the refractive indices of air versus water. Source: Charismatic Planet
